Make a list of the musicians and songs that have inspired you. Pick out one and write the lyrics to that song. Why does/did it inspire you? What does the song mean? How does it make you feel when you hear it? You can do this for more than one, if you like.

I had a really good break. During the first week we went down to Halls Gap which was lovely. It is a spectacular place with plenty to see and do. The hardest walk we went on was the pinnacle walk - I didn't realise it was sheer cliff edges and rock climbing but we certainly had fun getting to the top. I helped my Oma celebrate her 89th birthday in the Dandenongs (at a restaurant called "The Cuckoo'). Most of my uncles and aunts were there along with lots of my cousins so it was a very funny night. My brother came down from Cairns so it was very nice to spend some time with him. The second week was pretty quiet in comparison, I spent time at home cleaning out cupboards, rearranging and organising things. The kids had friends over or visited friends for sleepovers and I caught up with many of my girlfriends that I neglect during the term. Little Creatures is fast becoming a favourite of mine for both food and coffee. Great service and delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere, brilliant! It was a good break, that went way too fast and back here we are! :) |
